Individual Psychotherapy

I provide individual therapy services to adolescents and adults aged 16 and older. Meetings take place weekly or every other week, with an option to reduce session frequency as we near the end of our work. I generally offer two types of individual therapy approaches: time-limited or process-based (see more information about each approach below).

Time-limited Psychotherapy

Time-limited therapy is an agreement to work together for a specific period of time or a set number of sessions. This model is helpful for clients who thrive with structure, would like to learn specific skills, or would benefit from completing an evidence-based therapy protocol. This is also a good option for clients who would like to complete adjunctive EMDR alongside regular ongoing talk therapy.

Process-Based Psychotherapy

Process-based therapy is flexible, open-ended, and attuned to the client’s evolving self and needs. This approach addresses the client’s entire psychological system rather than focusing on just one problem. We may incorporate skill-building, but we can also engage in experiential practice, cultivate meaning and fulfillment, and attend to physical well-being, sociocultural factors, and relationship dynamics.

Mental Health Check-Up

I provide mental health “check-ups” to assess psychological well-being, along with specific recommendations for addressing challenges and improving quality of life. Check-ups generally take place over one to two sessions and are offered annually, every six months, or on an as-needed basis. This is a great option for people who are curious about their mental health and want to learn more about their overall psychological functioning, patterns of thoughts and emotions, and how they operate in relationships, at work, and in other important life domains.

Supervision & Consultation

I offer clinical supervision to mental health workers in training. I am also available for consultation about topics related to mental health and private practice.
I greatly value opportunities to provide education to anyone with interest in psychology and to support trainees’ growth into caring, skillful mental healthcare providers.
